Getting Your Web Pages on the Web

1. Create the web page.
   • You know how to do this already. ;)

2. Obtain space from an Internet Service Provider (ISP), your company, or other source already hooked up to the internet with a web server. Here are some items to consider:
   • How much space will you need?
   • Do you have space allotted to you already?
   • CGI-BIN access?
   • Will you be charged for X-amount of hits to your pages?

3. Upload the files into your web directory.
   • Typically accomplished using File Transfer Protocol (FTP). Check out my brief intro on FTP if you are unfamiliar with FTP commands!
